Well stated. I come to now realize (And what a harsh realization it has been) as a former Rightist myself, That capitalism is indeed one of the issues failing this nation.

I'll be writing some thoughts on this in the near future and I will be sure to link to your article...

I'm with you on this Apex.

For much of my life I was sympathetic to the Left and Socialism, etc. After 2014 I made a turn towards Rightist politics and thought. But if the last 7 years have taught me anything, it's that at least half the Right are LARPers, and the other half are grifters, spooks, or shills. Western Conservatives are NOT interested in conserving anything. Anyone who thinks otherwise is deluded or wilfully blind.

To Apex and everyone else in the comments, let's keep in touch. There is much possibility-space to build something better and I would like to explore it with like-minded people.

I enjoyed this writing as such, but consider the changes in reality of a Texas woman with a pregnancy she doesn't want in the two months since you wrote it, acceleration is a process that already places this piece in the past.

Have you looked much into anarchist writers like Bookchin? I think you might find what you're looking for there.

While I think your argument against alienation and "autonomy as it's own end" is useful I don't think this really sufficiently supports your anti-liberalism. I think ultimately a lot of what you're doing is interesting, evocative, but also somewhat falling into reification fallacy and a little too "just so"
